Who Made Your Pants

However since Mary Portas has been chatting her good chat on Channel 4 about where knickers are made, I have definitely given this neglected area of my wardrobe more love. But before giving my lingerie an over-haul I wondered if I could have my cake AND eat it. Can I buy guilt-free, sexy pants?

Annndddd my friend Eugenie came to the rescue (she's one of those friends, we've all got one, that knows about a plethora of cool and unusual projects) with the Who Made Your Pants? company.

This company produces gorgeous pants AND they're made ethically...info below...

Who Made Your Pants? is a social business based in Southampton. We create jobs for women here who needs them. The job is turning perfect fabrics left over from the underwear industry into new, gorgeous pants.

We teach women how to have a job and aim to be the first entry on the CV not the last - we want to promote from within as we grow. We're called Who Made Your Pants? because we tell you - each pair of pants comes with information on the team with it.

Each pair is individually hand cut and hand trimmed and they are designed to fit perfectly. These are pants to feel great in, for yourself. By women, for women. I tend to call them superpowered job creating pants because it makes me smile to say it.

The other thing is, bearing in mind that British knickers are in the news at the moment, that we formed way back in 2008 and created our first pants and jobs, after a lot of training, in 2009. We've been here a while and are here to stay!
